Willamette installs the same way you create a default minimalist Bridgetown site project…via bridgetown new and our automation script:
> bridgetown new my_site -a https://codeberg.org/bridgetownrb/willamette
The automatic installer will set up the Willamette rubygem & frontend packages and get you up and running in mere seconds.
Out of the box, Willamette provides a forest green tint to backgrounds, links, and form controls, but with one override of a CSS variable:

--wll-color-brand: #fa3500;
}
Suddenly it looks completely different!
Many other aspects of the theme can be customized with a few CSS overrides. Willamette itself is based on the world-class
Willamette is engineered so we have the ability to release new features and offer them to existing Willamette users without breaking the whole site.
Your content stays your content, but our design expertise means when we find new and exciting ways of display content, you can benefit simply by upgrading.
